Some Japanese Phrases!

It's safer not to ask, isn't it?

No, I have no idea what this says. However, one can conclude that Heero is using the tail of Duo's braid as some sort of writing utensil, for one reason or another ^_^;;;

*wave wave* Ohayo! Duo (purely a typo, I swear!) *clears throat* Due to the fact that when I first sent my fanfic to one of my friends who is not too deep into anime, and they were thrown off by the use of various Japanese phrases, I figured I'd do a bit of a translation for everyone out there ^_^

Ohayo! -- Part of the phrase "Ohayo gozaimasu," meaning "Good Morning." The "ohayo" is generally used as a greeting by itself, at least that's how most people use it. Don't quote me on this.

Koibito -- "Lover." This one should be self-explanitory really. ^-^

Ai shiteru -- Okay, this one from what I gather is used to the extent of "I love you." Don't quote me on that either.

Shounen ai -- male/ male relationships

Yaoi -- sexual male/male relationships

Hentai/ecchi -- Technically these mean "pervert," but they're used to describe, well, perverted scenes, hehe.

Lemon/lime -- Pretty much same as above. That's just fan fiction terminology though, not Japanese ^_^

Baka -- "idiot" pretty much.

Baka yaro -- can mean "stupid bastard," hehe.

Nanji-desu ka? -- not that this one has any relevence  in any way, it's just fun to say! "What time is it?"

Minna-san -- polite way to say "everyone."

Bishounen -- technically, it's pretty much a "beautious young man" hehe.

Bishoujo -- and this one is pretty much "beautiful young lady"

Megumi -- Goddess ^_^

Hime -- Princess

Omae o korosu -- One of Heero's most famous lines, techincally "I'm going to destroy you."

Gomen -- "sorry," Gomen nasai is pretty much "very sorry"

Arigato -- Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto! hehe. Thank you, or thank you very much w/ the domo.

Sayonara -- a good-bye forever / long period of time type thing,

Ja ne -- Pretty much a see you later.

Hai / iie -- Yes and no, in that order.

Hmm, if I think of anything else or anyone asks for something specific, I'll add it later. ^_^
