Many thought it was going to be the end of kittie when Talena Atfield left the band. Talena wasn't just an incredible bassist, she was also an icon for the band and for many the "Pin up" of the band.
Fallon was the first to leave the original line up just before the 'Oricle' tour in 2001. The reasons for her diparture were never confimed.
Talena's abrupt decision to quit the band was drawn out with speculation of a rift shortly after the Uk part to the 'Oricle' tour in February 2001. When she finaly left it made many think that with only the two Lander sisters left Kittie couldn't suvive.
However Kittie went on to play at 'The Ozz Fest' in England in the summer of 2002, albeit with the help of 'Jeff' a stand in bassist.
Now it seens a new era has dawned on the Band Kittie, and wit the power and talents of Morgan a whole new direction. Morgan's taste and determination to bring Heavy metal back from the brink of mediocracy has ment a hardening of the music, and an inceased involvement of thrash in her music. This was clearly seen by the differences in Oricle from Spit, Oricle showed a more raw and powerful style that can not be seen by anyone to be derivative of the so called 'Nu Metal' movement all to evident in todays music.
With the new talents and inspirations of Jennifer J. Arroyo Kittie seem set to become once again a huge force in the Metal genre.
