Leo and Lyric are the youngest members of our family. They originally belonged to some friends that could no longer keep them due to moving. So I took in the little kitty heads. They were about 4 or 5 months old at the time, but are about 3 years old now. They are brother and sister, Leo being the brother, and Lyric being the sister. Leo is so cute and cuddly and affectionate. Lyric is fiesty and playful, but she has quite an affectionate side as well. She picks on the "big boys", Punk and Puff, just like they were her little brother, Leo. And she and her brother both think that Punkin's fluffy flowing tail is the grandest plaything. He tolerates them pretty well, but he gets his fill of it every now and then and the "Punk" comes out of him! We think Lyric has a little crush on Punkin. She just gazes at him so adoringly, and she picks on him the most too. Punkin and Creampuff adjusted well also, but Scooter had a harder time in the beginning. At first, he felt he had to let them know who was in charge around here, but now the "old softy" adoringly licks them and snuggles with them. I have really enjoyed having them around, and they are definitely part of the family. They are quite happy here and have blended right in! |

Leo is quite a floppy boy! He somehow winds up in the strangest positions. He is the only cat I have ever seen in my life that lays flat on his stomach (with his back legs stretched out behind him like a person would lay). When you pick him up, he is so floppy, he just goes limp. He also loves to "fly". He will start in the back room of the house, take a running start, jump onto the back of a chair in the living room, and fly through the doorway into my bedroom. He has gotten very experienced with this, and can stay in the air for several feet! |
Lyric is a very sassy, but sweet little girl. She loves to romp and play with the boys. She also has become quite a little flirt with Punkin, and now even Scooter. She has to drink her water out of the bathroom sink in a little trickle coming out of the faucet. She has taught Leo to practice this as well, and now we hardly ever see them drinking out of the water bowl. She is so happy when we come home from work that she stands on her hind legs to greet us. Puff still occasionally hisses at her (with his tail between his legs the whole time) and she promptly chases him under the bed with a smug smirk on her little face! |
