~Horses from my past~
"Trainer Hanover"
My very first horse that I could call my own was a dark bay, almost black Standardbred Stallion, his racing name was 'Hanover Trainer'.

I called him just 'Trainer' he was 10 years old, and being young I didn't know any better and when I found local agistment the man asked me alot of questions about my 'stallion', ofcouse he said yes, I can agist him with his mares ....need I say.... once he put all his mares in foal, I was kicked out of the paddock, and no one would let me agist a stallion.

So I was force to take Trainer to the stock markets, crying all the way, he was so quiet and great to ride for a stallion, I use to ride him in with mares and he was a pure gentleman, I was told he was to old to geld, and believed it. It was about 5 years before I got another horse.
"Dusty"
My next horse was a far cry from Trainer, a black mare named 'Dusty' she was a pony clubber horse, all of 14 hh, I took her for a 4 week trial, and decided not to buy her due to her bad temper when she was being feed,
she would kick out at you if you were anywhere near her while she was eating, you even had to throw her feed to her and she would have her ears flat back, I ask the owners about this and she said "Oh she's always been like that!"  so I was glad to hand her back and look else where.....

This is me on 'Dusty' (black pony) with a friend.
