This holiday season we purr hard for world peace, peace in our nation, peace among all races with no racial hatred, peace for all the cats and dogs, especially those who have no homes to find homes and love, warmth, shelter, and food, and for the country to come to a satisfactory decision about the presidential election.

I have to start out by saying a thankful purr. I am thankful that I have a family who loves me and whom I love. I have two brofurs and a sisfur to play with and snuggle with and I have a fafur and meowmie to look after me. I have a warm home with lots of t oys and as much food as I can eat, but most of all we have plenty of love. My purr for the world is that the spirits of love and generosity replace the spirits of greed and selfishness so we can put an end to the evils of homelessness, abuse and animal testing.

The world is lightening in the east, Streamers of high cloud turn all shades of pink and gold,
Soon they will be gone and the blue desert sky will be pure and unbroken. The snow on the mountain tops turns to fire and the sun breaks into view, shining on my peaceful world.
And as the world turns, for every second of every day, Somewhere there is sunrise, and somewhere there is sunset. Somewhere the sun is shining on peace and beauty, and somewhere darkness sets on misery, poverty, hurt....
Somewhere landscapes of warmth and light shine, and somewhere is the deepest night of terror, anger, warfare...
Let the world lighten always, let the beauty be seen. let the sun warm the hearts of those in darkness, let the anger stop, Let the terror stop, Let the fighting stop, Let there be food and shelter and warmth for all.
This is the first Christmas season of the New Millenium, and for all who believe that there will be a Tomorrow, Let there be peace.
