Kiwi Ball
Kiwi's
Woogies
This is a game in Kiwi National Park (That's made up of course!) and it's a lot of fun, but it also taught us a little about what the Yosemite Institute does.
In this national park there are two main creatures that are protected and those are the kiwis and the woogies and the woogies are the predators. The woogies jaw is a movable ball and they start out with one woogie and increase as the woogie throws his jaw at a kiwi. When the kiwi is hit with the jaw it will die a horrible death and then get reborn as a woogie increasing the woogies population depending on how fast the woogies are. Then a little while later the superintendent will come and everyone will march up to her and salute her and she will bring some bad news about making the national park smaller with publicity and people coming in. People will call and ask to put campgrounds in the park, a five-star hotel, golf courses, and ski parks. That totally decreases the size of the already small kiwi national park and they also want to add a road. If any creature is hit by a car on the road they die a horrible death and get reborn as a kiwi (not a woogie). It's a fun game but it has a purpose... and that is to teach us that every action has a consequence. The Yosemite is working to prevent having all these unneccesary things in Yosemite that make the park smaller and affect the creatures around it.
