Membership

Membership in the Kiwanis Club of Gander is open to men and women of good character.  All that is necessary is a willingness to attend meetings and work on projects, in other words, make a difference in your community.  A person may be accepted as a member of the club either through sponsorship by a current member or by means of transfer or referral from another club.  Members are approved by the officers and the Board of Directors

Kiwanis offers opportunities for personal involvement in the leadership and improvement of the community, the nation and the world.

Kiwanians are engaged in education, government, banking, marketing, international trade, non-profit organizations and many other fields.  They are corporate officers, managers, small business owners, and self-employed professionals.  They are young individuals embarking on careers, successful executives and active retirees.
