| REGULATIONS FOR LOCAL FESTIVAL PRELIMINARIES |

| 1. At the Local Festival, there may be one winner named in each of the National Competitive Festival classes Nos. 1 to 6. The winner shall be the contestant displaying the greatest musicianship with a minimum of 85 marks obtained in any of the appropriate classes in the Local Festival Syllabus. Such winner shall, on the recommendation of the local adjudicator, be eligible to compete at the Provincial Level subject to compliance with National Competitive Festival Regulations. | ||||||||||||||
| 2. Secretaries of Local Festivals will be advised in due course regarding the time and locale of the Provincial Level of Competitions in their respective areas. | ||||||||||||||
