Some say No. Let us look further.
One of the most remarkable is hidden in a genealogy in Genesis Chapter 5. This is a passage we skim over quickly, after all it is only a genealogy of ten people from Adam to Noah. In our Bible we read 10 Hebrew names and since they are proper names they are not translated But only transliterated into the approximate way they were pronounced. What what do they signify, in English? Meaning of proper names can be difficult since a direct translation is not readily available. However a study of Hebrew roots can yeild some fascinating insights. (there is however controversy over the variant meanings of some of these names).

Remember also that the flood of Noah did not come as a suprise. It had been preached for four generations.. Also Enoch was given a prophecy of the coming great flood and was apparently tols that as long as his son was alive the judgement would be withheld. Enoch named his son to reflect this..Methuselah comes from two roots (oops copied hebrew but it comes out wrong here)..okay, muth, a root that means death...and shalach, which means to bring or to send forth. Thus Methuselah means..his death shall bring. ( I wonder if the whole neighborhood panicked when he caught a cold). And in the year that Methuselah died the flood did come.
Methuselah was 187 when he had Lamech, and he lived 782 more years.Lamech had Noah when he was 182. The flood came in Noah's 600th year. 187 plus 182 plus 600 = 969, the year Methuselah died. Interesting that Methuselah's life was in effect a symbol of God's mercy in forestalling the coming judgement of the flood. It is therefore fitting that his lifetime is the oldest mentioned in the Bible, symbolising God's extensive Mercy.
Since there is such significance in Methuselah's name Let's look at the others.See scripture for extra info, okay!

The first, ADAM,adomah, means "Man"
Adams son, SETH, means "appointed".
ENOSH, Seth's son means "mortal" or frail or miserable from root, anash..to be incurable It was in the days of Enosh that man began to defile the name of the living God Gen4:26?
KENAN, Enosh's son which can mean, "sorrow" or dirge or elegy..(not synonymous with canaan as some believe) We dont know why these names were chosen for these babies, maybe something that happened at their birth???
MAHALALEL means "blessed" or praise..and El the name of God. Often hebrew names contained El, such as Dani-el JARED from the verb, yaradh, meaning "shall come down"...(could be an illusion to the sons of God who came down, fallen angels, resulting in Nephilim..maybe)
ENOCH, Jared's son, means "teaching" or commencement. He was the first of four generations of preachers. See Jude 14,15
METHUSELAH.."his death shall bring" LAMECH..a root still evident today in Lamentations or lament..suggest "desparing"
NOAH, derived from nacham, means "to bring relief" or "comfort" Gen5:29

Let's put it together.
ADAM, Man
SETH, Appointed
ENOSH, Mortal
KENAN, Sorrow
MAHALALEL, The Blessed God
JARED, Shall come down
ENOCH, Teaching
METHUSALAH, His death shall bring
LAMECH, The despairing
NOAH, Rest

Man, (is) appointed mortal sorrow, (but) the Blessed God shall come down teaching (that) His death shall bring (the) despairing rest.
Here is a summary of God's plan of redemption, hidden? in a genealogy in Genesis. Did the rabbis deliberately hide this in their venerated Torah? I think not!
Notes taken from Chuck Missler's book "CosmicCodes".........I have heard several Messianic teachers teach this message.
