Shippou is a fox youkai or Kitsune. He is very young and doesnot have the power of some other youkai. His father was killed for his skin by the lightning brothers. He was the last person that Shippou had as family. Because of this, he goes along with the rest of the Inuyasha group. He really likes Kagome and sleeps around her every night. Even though, Shippou and Inuyasha dont really get along well sometimes, Shippou wants Kagome to be happy, so he tries to encourage Inuyasha's feelings for Kagome whenever they're not fighting against some evil Youkai or their main enemy, Naruku
Shippou is also a hot-tempered character, but he has the innocent mind of a child. He loves being with the Inuyasha group and likes to help out whenever possible, but his abilities in fighting arent too good because he is still too young. He observes other peoples feelings and sometimes he blurts them out very easily, since he is just a kid.
Shippou has quite a few magical tricks. He can turn into a pink balloon and float to wherever he wants to, leave a trail of crying mushrooms to show others where he went, create fox fire, do a Smashing Top attack, and change his appearance. Most of his tricks are just illusions, but they scare his enemies just the same.
