Engagement
Lonny and I were officially engaged on May 11, 2003, yes that was Mother's Day 2003. We were at Annapolis Mall on Saturday, May 10 to pay off a bill of Lonny's. After we paid the bill, we went looking at rings. Zales had their designer in the store that day where you could pick the setting and then pick the stones you wanted. I knew I wanted sapphires surrounding a diamond. I picked out a 10K white gold setting. Each sapphire is 3mm..and the diamond is .53 carats.
Wedding Plans
My parents have basically said that they're not going to help pay for a wedding. So we're paying for everything. We're trying to save enough money to have the wedding next summer but it's going to be tough. We're doing a medieval/renaissance period wedding. Our friend is making my dress and the groom's clothes as the wedding gift. We're still trying to figure out where to have the ceremony and most of the other details. If you are feeling generous and want to donate to our wedding fund, click the paypal link below. Any little bit will help, even a few cents because they do add up over time. I'll keep updating this page as time goes on.

While I knew awhile ago what my dress was going to be, Lonny doesn't know yet what he wants for his outfit. I have a feeling he's going to do something in black and purple. My maid of honor (who is making the wedding attire) is going to help with the invitations when we get to that point. We're probably going for the homemade on the computer. I've been doing some searching and it looks like Ebay will be my friend for items for the wedding. I've found a great sites for wedding cake toppers and wedding favors. If we'll be able to afford one of them remains to be seen, but they're still cool. http://www.sculpturedglass.com/ I'm thinking a custom design of the Knight on Horseback with Maiden under a heart shaped arch. I've already spoken with the company and it won't cost any more than the arch with Knight and Maiden and the Knight on Horseback and Maiden will be scaled to fit with the arch.
