Descriptions and sketches of some eclipse coronas and prominences:
N.B. the coronas of 1990 and 1992 were witnessed by very few people on the earth and there are almost no descriptions, photos or sketches of them.

There is no predictable phenomenon in nature as magnificent as a total
eclipse of the sun. After witnessing my first total eclipse in Manitoba
on February 26, 1979, I have become a passionate eclipse chaser, and
have experienced with my wife 11 total and 4 annular solar eclipses.
