The militant Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) and its chapter the Alyansa ng Manggagawang-Bukid sa Asyenda Luisita (AMBALA) lambasted the Hacienda Luisita Incorporated management for yet again throwing a monkey-wrench on the negotiations with United Luisita Worker’s Union (ULWU) under Rene “Ka Boyet” Galang, its elected president. 

According to the peasant leader, “the management keep on insisting that they will only talk with the grouplet of Ronnie Alcantara, the yellow unionist who was installed by management. But how can this be, when they did not even participated in the strike? It can also be likened to a puppet talking to its master, thereby what management wants, it can get with the Alcantara grouplet,”

“The demands of the farm workers on strike will just come to naught if this hideous management plan comes to fruition and the lives of the martyrs of Hacienda Luisita would be desecrated,” added Galang.

As for his part Carl Anthony Ala, public information officer of KMP, “I myself saw and overheard Noynoy Aquino with the grouplet of Alcantara in the House of Representatives canteen last November 25. The latter reporting what is happening on the congressional hearing to Noynoy, and he on the other hand giving instructions to the grouplet. Now how can they say that they represent the majority of he farm workers?”

“It is clear as daylight that Ronnie Alcantara and his ilk are paid hacks of the Cojuangcos and Aquinos, trying to derail the righteous strike and demands of the farm workers of the plantation. It is now a day after the birthday of Ninoy but his family continues to spit on the people he said is worth dying for,” ended Ala. # # #
