The militant Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) revealed the photo showing Rep. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino, eating and talking with Ronnie Alcantara, and his grouplet of yellow unionists at the Congress canteen in November 25, during the congressional hearing for the Hacienda Luisita massacre. 

According to Danilo “Ka Daning” Ramos, secretary general of the group, “this proves beyond reasonable doubt that Alcantara and his ilk are paid hacks of the Hacienda Luisita management, and are mere lapdogs of the Cojuangcos and the Aquinos. They should be ashamed of themselves for selling their fellow farm workers, they are the Judases of ULWU,”

  “If Alcantara has any dignity left at all, he should stop claiming that he is the United Luisita Worker’s Union president, because nobody believes him, except of course the management who placed him there and his fellow paid hacks in the board,” added the peasant leader.

As for his part Carl Anthony Ala, public information officer of KMP, “Noynoy’s posturing as an heir to his father’s legacy, has now been totally exposed as nothing but a mere public relations gimmick. He is just a rich kid, playing the part of being the champion of the masses, but has nothing to show for it,”

“Noynoy can kiss his political career goodbye. He can now shelf his plans to be a senator and then to be a president. The martyrs of the Hacienda Luisita massacre will continue to haunt him and unless genuine land reform in their estate is implemented the struggle of the farm workers will continue,” ended Ala.

The KMP is urging the House ethics committee to reprimand Noynoy and if possible to strip his deputy speakership due to his immoral, unethical and despicable actions. # # #
