“Gloria would not want to die tomorrow!”-KMP

The militant Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) chided President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo that she would not want to die tomorrow. According to Danilo “Ka Daning” Ramos, secretary general of the group, “even after 10 years Gloria would not want to die yet because her wake and funeral would definitely be compared to that of FPJ’s. Gloria could never muster such a huge throng of people who would mourn her death and now she maybe having serious insecurity problems regarding the Filipino people’s sentiments toward her,”

“The death of Ninoy Aquino was more than 20 years ago but that is the only thing that comes near to FPJ’s burial with more than a million people lining the streets to mourn their hero.Gloria would definitely have self-doubts regarding her own popularity and the masses’ support to her administration. No wonder that Malacanang today is armed to the teeth, because its occupant is an illegitimate one, and not the one which was elected by the people,” added the peasant leader.

As for his part Carl Anthony Ala, public information officer of KMP “ for Gloria to have a mere chance to rally such numerous people to her side would take years of genuine service to the masses of Filipino people. No amount of promises and double talk can garner such support and sympathy. But considering her track record, she might as well give up,”

“The out-pouring of people to FPJ’s burial today proves beyond doubt that he was cheated in the last election. People would not wait in line under the scorching heat of the sun nor risk being crushed to death if their reason is just to see movie stars, their resolve is an expression of their overwhelming support to their fallen idol, to their lost hope. The masses would take a long time to find another man who would reflect their keenest dreams and they will realize that our  hopes does not lie on individuals but through our concerterted actions,” ended Ala. # # #
