The militant Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) chided the ABS-CBN management for not showing the Luisita episode of Correspondence last January 31. According to Ka Willy Marbella,spokesperson of tne group,"we have reliable information that the ABS-CBN management, not only shelved the episode it even went to the extent of issuing a memo addressed to the producer and reporter of the episode castigating tbem for unprofessionalism and bad journalism,".

"This is pure and blatant media harassment. The influence of the Cojuangco-Aquino's is so strong that it can even scrap an episode of a show on the country's so-called biggest and brightest network"added the peasant leader.

"We support  the reporter and producer of the show by standing by their journalistic integrity. Not wanting to have their names on the credit if the episode gets tampered with by the management" expounded Marbella.

As for his part Carl Anthony Ala, public information officer of KMP, "even if Kris Aquino is one of the top talents of the channel, they should not allow this to sully  the truth about where her family got its wealth or what is the true condition of the workers and farm-workers in their hacienda.”

"We now pose a challenge to ABS-CBN, they should show the complete Luisita episode of the Correspondence or they can kiss their so-called integrity goodbye,"ended Ala.###
