“AFP’s planting of recycled bomb evidence credible!”-KMP

The militant Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) lambasted the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) for planting recycled bomb evidence in Mandaluyong City in the so-called hide-out of the alleged Valentine’s Day bombers. The recycled evidence allegedly was already recovered in Makati City last September 30.

According to Danilo “Ka Daning” Ramos, secretary general of KMP, “this is but a normal practice of the military as well as the police, to arrest anybody they want or to shift blame from them. As we can remember they also presented so-called pieces of evidence including an M16 and other high powered guns in the Hacienda  Luisita massacre, supposedly found on the side of the strikers but the NBI investigation itself would attest that the ones who shot the strikers were the military and the police,”

“Also the one who is saying that the evidence is recycled is one of their own and different military experts from their own ranks agree with him. The ones present on the Makati raid also testify that the Mandaluyong evidence really seem familiar and is similar to what they got in Makati,” added Ramos.

As for his part Carl Anthony Ala, public information officer of the group, “it is quite obvious what the military and the Macapagal-Arroyo administration is doing. They are trying to create an atmosphere of fear and terror, to justify the implementation of the National ID system, the anti-terror bill and the internal security act,”

“Malacanang is trying to create a bandwagon of paranoia, ride on it and implement her fascist plans to stop opposition against her repressive bills. A nice plan but one that is doomed to fail, because the people have long ago known what the government and its armed machinery is doing,” ended Ala. # # #
