“Constitutional succession is obsolete!”-KMP

The militant Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) aired its position that constitutional succession is passé and studying the formation of a transitional council after the ouster of Gloria and is to discuss this proposal with Sen Loren Legarda.

Ka Willy Marbella, deputy secretary general for internal affairs of KMP, “when she returns, we are inviting Sen Legarda to a discussion of the burning issues of the day and on our proposal for a transition government when the President and the vice-president are ousted,”

“We will discuss this with her because, she would be like asking for the moon if she expects that something would come out of her electoral protest, considering that Malacanang controls the COMELEC. What we are proposing is a viable, solid and infinitely better alternative from the current rotting regime,” said Marbella.

“Constitutional succession is obsolete, and look at where it got us. The transition government and the true people’s congress is what the people want to replace this system,” ended Marbella. # # #
