The militant Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) under the Rural Movement for the Ouster of Gloria (REMOVE Gloria) alliance will conduct a massive motorcade tomorrow at 12 noon to entice the business sector to further join the call for Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s ouster or resignation. 

According to Danilo “Ka Daning” Ramos, secretary general of KMP and convenor of REMOVE Gloria!, “the motorcade will be  a testament to the rural people’s resolve to oust Gloria from power, we are to come from far away provinces just to register our point that Gloria has to vacate Malacanang because she has caused too much suffering to the Filipino peasantry. We are now calling on the middle class to add their powerful voice to ours, we are just asking them to flock to Ayala on July 13 and be our gracious hosts,”

“Our motorcade will be composed of at least  30 colorful vehicles drapped with anti-Gloria posters and paraphernalia.This will be the biggest motorcade yet calling for Gloria’s ouster and would traverse the country’s primary financial district,” added Ramos.

Meanwhile Ka Willy Marbella, internal deputy secretary general of KMP, “we are also to launch a hot-air balloon with GOODBYE, Gloria on it. This will be one of the highlights of the motorcade and we hope that the people will appreciate it. Our oust campaign is really getting creative by the day,”

“It is only by the basic masses efforts, united with the middle forces that we can oust the courrupt and fascist president. The institutions of our society like the CBCP or the AFP, can help speed it up but they are not the primary movers of this unstoppable force,” ended Marbella. # # #
