The militant Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) scored the recent arrival of presidential son Congressman Juan Miguel “Mikey”Arroyo from the United States purportedly to attend his brother Dato’s birthday here and for his wife to also celebrate her birthday in the Philippines. 
 
According to Ka Willy Marbella, internal deputy secretary general of KMP, “is this what they call exile, when at any pretext they can come back and do what they please. We believe that Mikey’s reasons are just a cover to test the political waters if nobody minds their presence in the country. We also believe that Mikey is not here for so innocuous a reason such as a birthday of a relative,”
 
“Let us not forget that this week is very crucial for Gloria’s ouster, especially that now would be the time for the pro-Gloria congressmen to kill the impeachment and all out efforts are being done by the administration to buy off congressmen who are still undecided in the impeachment issue. Another reason for Mikey’s presence here is to help his mother do that,” added the peasant leader
 
Meanwhile Carl Anthony Ala, public information officer of the group said, “this has a precedent, remember that when First Gentleman Mike Arroyo, came back last month, several witnesses for the Senate jueteng probe backed-out from the investigation. They are trying to do this with the congressmen who already signed the impeachment complaint. The timing of his return is very dubious”
 
“The Macapagal-Arroyo family really does operate like the Mafia and no means is too dirty for them to get what they want,” ended Ala. # # #
