“Joc-joc crashed our website!”-KMP

The militant Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) blamed former Department of Agriculture Undersecretary Jocelyn “Joc-joc” Bolante for crashing the peasant organization’s website due to the overwhelming hits it is getting.

According to Ka Willy Marbella, internal deputy secretary general of KMP, “this started when we posted our Wanted poster of Joc-joc and especially now that the Senate has ordered him arrested when he arrives in the Philippines, the hits on our website exceeded its allocated data transfer limit. We first posted the Wanted Joc-joc poster by the last week of October, to help our allies in other parts of the world to locate him, when his whereabouts was still unknown,”

“But now due to the public’s piqued interest in getting Bolante and learning the truth about the fertilizer scam, more and more people are looking and downloading the wanted poster from our website,” added the peasant leader.

“Our public information officer has been trying to access our website on http://www.oocities.org/kmp_ph/ since early yesterday morning but up till now we cannot even update our own website. We may ask our allied organizations to allow us to use their websites to serve as mirror sites to continue displaying the Wanted Joc-joc poster and work for his immediate capture. Joc-joc is really becoming a pain for farmers in more ways than one,” Marbella said.

“We do hope that our website and Wanted Joc-joc poster can help in finding and apprehending him so that we can know once and for all what he did with the 728 million peso fertilizer fund. Our inconvenience is a small price to pay if it would lead to his arrest and those behind him,” ended Marbella. # # #
