The Pledge of Allegiance
I exercise the freedom of speech when saluting the flag

I pledge allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America,
and to the republic for which it stands,
One nation under God, indivisible,
with liberty and justice to all.

Please support our troops till they are home again safe.

Grand Old Flag

You're a grand old flag
You're a high flying flag
and forever in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of
The land I love
The home of the free and the brave.
Ev'ry heart beats true
'neath the red, white and blue,
Where there's never a boast or brag
"but should auld aquaintance be forgot"
Keep your eye on the grand old flag.
~George Cohen, 1906~

The first 4th of July celebration was held in 1777

soldiers in the area paraded through the steets.

Thomas Jeferson, who wrote the Declaration Of Independence,
Died on July 4, 1826 at noon in his home in Virigina.
The day he died was the 50th anniversary of the

"I know not what course others may take,
but as for me,
Give me liberty or give me death."
~Patrick Henry~

America will never be destroyed from the outside.
If we falter and lose our freedoms, it well be
because we destroyed ourselves.
~Abraham Lincoln~

When you see a rattlesnake poised to strike,
you do not wait until he has struck before
you crush him.
~Franklin D. Roosevelt~

As we celebrate the 4th of July, with picnics, BBQ's, and
get togethers with family and friends, let us reflect
on the lives of our military and the sacrifices they have
given to keep this country FREE!
