More than 120 bombs found in Indonesia's Central Sulawesi
Indonesian police have found more than 120 ready-to-use home-made bombs in a
graveyard in the restive province of Central Sulawesi.
Poso police chief, Abdi Darma, says a total of 123 devices have been found in an
Islamic graveyard in Poso town.
At least eight of the bombs been filled with shrapnel including nails and sharpened
metal.
The discovery comes just days after gunmen shot and wounded a man in the grounds
of the Bethany Christian Church in the town.
A Hindu woman was shot and two Christian men were wounded in the same region
last week after shots were fired into their houses.
Two Christian men were hacked to death on the same day near the capital, Palu.
Poso has seen intermittent communal violence between Muslims and Christians
since 2000, despite a government-brokered peace accord two years ago.
