BEKKO

Shiro Bekko. This type of koi has a white body colour overlaid with blue-black markings. (sumi) that are mottled and extend into the fins but not into the head.  Individuals with clear white fins and jet-black sumi markings are considered superior.

Aka Bekko.  This variety ideally has a deep red body with black motting, which can extend into the fins.

Ki Bekko. This is a striking yellow fish with black markings.
