Here is photo of scope showing the voltage made from the rotovertor AC motor project spinning a Bill Muller type dynamo/geenrator/alternator as shown on link#16 of this site:

Pure AC xignal:

AC signal now rectified with diodes into all-DC phases:

DC type capacitor now placed in paralell which creates straight DC power signal:

Below is a photo showing the shape of a DC motor-coil pulse which is running on 60ma and 12Vdc showing on the meters while this photo from a scope measuring the CURRENT (not voltage) was taken.
Note the "swirling" recoil spikes at the end of the motor pulse...these can be captured as extra-power via a "recovery" circuit of diodes and capacitors to do extra work, such as dumping into motor coils for extra power, or discharging the capacitors into extra batteries to charge.
Look at the link on this site "circuit diagrams" for an excelllent backemf/recoil recovery circuit for a DC pulse motor which will increase power to the motor, lower the amp draw, and also charge 2nd battery stacks while motor runs via filling capacitor with this energy, and then pulsing cap into battery to charge in between motor coil pulses:
