Kenta: You can't boss me around, I'm a tamer!
The Ark has arrived. Rika and Renamon are still not back. Takato worries that they won't make it. Henry decides that Suzie must get back, so he loads her on first. The rest of the Tamers get on board except Takato. Kyubimon is running as fast as she can to get back, but worries that she won't have the energy to do so. Rika pulls out a card...Jeri is looking quite strange. Her skin is pale, her eyes look funny, and she has strange smile on her face. Kazu and Kenta are freaked as she plays with her puppet. The Ark begins to move, but Rika is still not back yet. Ryo and Cyberdramon head out to find Rika and Renamon. And Takato is still not on the Ark. Meanwhile, the Monster Makers are hard at work on calculations. Rika's mother and grandmother hope she makes it back. Takato is running after the Ark, and Guilmon is reaching out trying to grab him. They end up forming a chain with the digimon, but this only results in Calumon falling off. Now Calumon is being left behind as well. Guilmon begs the Ark to stop, and to their amazement, it does! Ryo and Rika finally arrive. Takato hops on Kyubimon. Cyberdramon flies up to the Ark and dedigivolves into Monodramon so he can fit in. Kenta discovers MarineAngemon in his pocket, and gets a D-Ark! Kenta has become a Tamer. (finally!) The Ark continues on it's path to Earth to everyone's rejoice. Then all of the sudden, it stops again. The chaos has infected the layer between the Earth and the Digital World. Takato begs the Ark for help again, and his wish is granted as it teleports them back to the real world. The Tamers meet their parents, except for Jeri. It seems that he father thinks she left on her own, she can come back on her own. Takato decides to take her home aboard the train. They both reach home, and the next morning a pinkish blob has covered part of Shinjuku. The D-Reaper has arrived on Earth...
Rika's and Henry's family's are watching the news and the reports of the pinkish blob that has engulfed part of the city. Since the arrival of the mass, the Monster Makers have taken residence in one of Hypnos black vans. Mr. Wong calls Henry and makes him promise not to get involved. (He should know his son better) The next morning Takato and Guilmon have finally caught a train home. Takato notices that there has been a big change in Jeri since Leomon died. Meanwhile, Ryo and his father ride home in their car, while Monodramon fiddles with everything. Impmon is visiting the house of his old Tamers. He notices a hand drawn picture of himself. He realizes they still care about him, and decides to find them. Calumon is playing with Jeri's little brother, while Jeri seems to get weirder by the minute. Takato phones home and tells his mother he plans on fighting the D-Reaper. Rika also decides to fight. The military has also decided to fight the D-Reaper mass. They are mobilizing all around it. The Hypnos team discovers that D-Reaper is indeed digital, but not a digimon. Henry has another philosphical conversation with his sensei over whether he should get involved. Henry also tells his mother he wants to fight. Takato is trying to find a way to get to the blob without going through the military. He decides to use the underground tunnel where he once hid Growlmon. When he reaches the tunnel, Rika and Henry arrive as well. When they reach the other side they find that the military has already begun its fight. Now it's time for the Tamers to begin theirs...
Takato: Guilmon! What are you doing?
(staring at D-Reaper's agents)
Guilmon: Staring contest.
Takato: Come on!
Guilmon: I was winning!
The Tamers have decided to fight the D-Reaper. They watch as the military attempts to fight the giant blob. Suddenly, they find themselves being watched. It seems to be scouts of the D-Reaper. Realizing this is the enemy, they run for safety. The Tamers decide to spend the night in the school. When they wake up the next morning they are all hungry. Takato decides they should go to his family's bread shop. He shows them all how to make bread, and Guilmon is finally able to make Guilmon bread. Meanwhile, Impmon is trying to find his old Tamers. Everyone is afraid of him, and no one will help him out. Fortunetly, Henry's sensei was nice enough to help him. He tells Impmon the information he needs to know, saying that it's what inside a person that counts. Impmon eventually finds his Tamers and they reconcile. The Tamers now must confront D-Reaper. They all three matrix digivolve to Ultimate and attack. The D-Reaper is able to mimic their attacks, and uses Taomon's shield to block all of their attempts! It then begins to use their offensive attacks against them. Impmon sees the battle going on at the TV at Ai and Mako's house, and decides he must help his friends. Mako gives Impmon his favorite toy gun before he leaves. As Impmon heads for battle, he digivolves to Beelzemon. The toy gun turns into a huge gun attached to Beelzemon's arm. He grows black angelic wings. His eyes turn from red to green. He now flies into battle. When Beelzemon arrives at the battle field, the others are skeptical. All of their worries are vanished when Beelzemon unleashes his attack on the D-Reaper. His Corona Blaster breaks the cord holding the agent to the D-Reaper. The others then finish it off with their combined attacks. After the battle, Takato sees what he thinks to be Jeri behind a tree, or was it?
The Messenger
Impmon: I got this stabbing pain in my head. I think it's called a conscience.
After spending another night in the school, the Tamers find out that their parents want to see them. They all go to Rika's house, where all their parents are. They have prepared a huge meal for them! (yummy!) Takato's parents even made "Guilmon" bread. There is much rejoicing, and then they all dig in. Meanwhile, the Monster Makers have found the original D-Reaper program. They discover that the version in the real world is more advanced than the one in the digital world. Like the digimon, it has evolved past it's original parameters. Yamaki gets a huge surprise when he finds out the Ark is trying to contact them. After eating their meal, the Tamer's D-Arks go off. They head out to try and battle the D-Reaper again. Once they get in it's general viscinity, they discover that it's chasing someone. It's a girl in a black dress with a dog type digimon. They discover the girl's name is Alice, and the digimon is Dobermon. He was sent by the sovereigns to help the Tamers. He has the power to allow them to Bio-Merge in the real world. Before he has the chance to help them, the D-Reaper attacks. Growlmon, Kyubimon, and Gargomon Matrix digivolve into their Ultimate forms and try to fight the newest agent of the D-Reaper, but are not doing well. Dobermon thanks Alice for helping him find the Tamers. He was sent from the soverigns to help the tamers bio merge! His data breaks apart and colored beams surround the Tamers. They prepare to Bio-Merge...
The D-Reaper's Disguise
Lopmon: Yes. Your my tamer. It's time to act like one.
Suzie: Ok! Do I need a jacket?
(ahhh she's so cute...^-^)
Thanks to Dobermon, the Tamers were able to biomerge in the real world. They attack the D-Reaper together, but it isn't nearly enough to destroy it. It weakens for a moment, then returns to full power. Gallantmon attacks, and is grabbed by the D-Reaper! He is drawn in to it and lands in a park, separating back into Takato and Guilmon. Takato sees Jeri there!... at least, it looks like Jeri. She's really creepy looking, talking about how humans are complex and illogical, and they must be deleted. Takato tries to snap her out of it, but Guilmon knows it's not really Jeri, and tries to warn Takato. Meanwhile, Sakuyamon and MegaGargomon are about to go into the D-Reaper to save Gallantmon. Kenta, Kazu and Suzie appear with their digimon to help out, and just as they are about to go in to save Gallantmon, a mysterious new digimon appears! In another part of the city, Alice is walking home, sad about the loss of her friend Dobermon. His data remains around her, and his head appears to lick her face and say good-bye one last time...
