6 months ago I was brought to Korea to start a a new Kids Herald School in Sanggye dong.
The boss seemed nice and so on, but then things started to change. After about 2 weeks I met my girlfriend , my boss decided to come over to carry out some maintenance when he saw my girlfriend he issued a no visitors to the apartment rule. Well I totally ignored it and it was never mentioned again. However I then started to have weekly inspections at my apartment always while I was at work, it was pretty obvious they had been through my draws I then requested that they call me or inform me before going to my apartment, which I guess they did to the most part then again there wasn't a need for them to ever visit.
Anyway the school never really took off so I was only working about 50 hours a month. After six months I was told on a monday that I would would be finishing on wednesday wow 3 days notice. My contract stated that I must be given 60 days notice. Anyway it makes me sick thinking about the other things that happened like cutting off my phone not paying me for the last month of work. Making me sign resignation papers or face living on the streets.
Verbal abuse, threats, nothing physical though. Anyway there was a lot of other things that happened but all I can say is DO NOT WORK FOR THESE PEOPLE!!!
