school Jungkye/Bukbu Wonderland. Jungkye can be
spelled Chunggye or Junggye. I want to warn everybody
against this institute. To begin with, the
administration is extremely incompetent and
inefficient, especially the supervisor. Their main
concern is money- although they'll pretend this isn't
the case. This makes it difficult for teachers to be
good teachers. The organization is terrible and
supplies are often lacking. However, when something
goes wrong the blame is often put on the foreign
teachers. For example, a few months ago they made all
of the afternoon teachers write an essay which focused
on how they could be better teachers. This essay had
to be handed in and evaluated by the administration.
The supervisor often fails to communicate with
teachers about things such as an upcoming activity
day. When the teachers complain they didn't know, she
lays the blame on them. The supervisor tells people
about how they need to come to work on time, yet she's
been late almost everyday. A Canadian female teacher
had a disagreement with the manager at this school, so
he started yelling at her and challenged her to a fist
fight- not very professional. In addition, the
administration has lied to people and cheated them out
of their pay or benefits. They tried to cheat a
teacher out of 25% of her severance pay. They agreed
to pay a teacher $100 so that she could change her air
ticket and leave the school at a later date. On the
