your Gray List. Firstly let me say that I am a registered teacher in my
country. I am not the first teacher that has not completed their contract at
this institute. The Director of this institute comes across as a nice,
caring supportive employer. This is a front. After about 6 months things
change and the situation is made very difficult so that by "mutual
aggreement" (Ha Ha) you part company. Then the fun starts. During the mutual
aggreement process the director is very nice and agrees to honour all the
terms in the contract. Beware!! a return airline fare to him is only one
way, home. I paid my own fare to get to Korea expecting to have it
reimbursed. I asked for it after six months but was told I would recieve it
on completion of my contract. Fat Chance!! Medical Insurance was not paid, I
found this out when I got sick. 10% tax??? Money was withheld to pay utilies
but after they were paid the balance was not forth coming after 3months.
Severance pay not honoured in full. I would love to take this man to court
but the language barriers in this country make this a vertual impossibility.
This director has done the same things to at least 2 other employees that I
have had contact with.
BEWARE!!!!
