About Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu in Australia
The practice of Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu was first introduced to Australia in 1980 by Ross Burns-sensei (5th dan; now retired) in the city of Gelong, Victoria. The Australian branch of the Daito-ryu Takumakai is now lead by Leigh Dickers-sensei (2nd Dan) in Highton, Victoria.
