SPECIAL GIFT TO YOU IS PEACE
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Good morning! It is foggy again and a lot of snow has disappeared. I
hope I can see the road to get to Miminegash this morning for the
celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 9:00 AM. I will have the second
celebration at Palmer Road at 11:00.
On this First Sunday of Advent, I was with Jesus in prayer and he spoke
to me saying, "Melvin, sharer in my priesthood, I love you. At my
coming, the people lived in darkness except for the chosen ones who were
awaiting my appearance in the world. Today there are many who accept me
as their Saviour and follow my teachings. However, there are many who
still live in darkness and refuse to come to the light. Many too have
not yet heard of me after 2,000 years. Know, my brothers and sisters,
that there are only two ways for you to follow: believing in me and
following me or refusing me and following Satan. There is no third way.
I came into the world for the salvation of all the people and I
accomplished this by suffering and dying on the cross. All I ask of them
is this: to believe in me, repent of all their sins and be active
members of my Church and they will be united with me forever in heaven.
All have though, to bend their wills to mine. Learn to follow my will
by attuning your heart to mine through prayer and the reading of the
Bible. Ask for my grace to amend your life by placing me at the centre
of your day. Curb your pride by living for me and with me. My special
gift to you will be peace of mind and peace of heart. I love you."
Jesus is the light and He came to chase away the darkness from our
hearts and minds. If we do not believe in Him and walk together with
Him, then we live in darkness away from Him. He brought us salvation by
dying on the cross for us. We simply have to believe in Him and follow
what He tells us. A Christian is one who prays regularly and asks Jesus
for His help every day.
May Jesus give us all the gift of His peace.
