NEW DAY HAS DAWNED
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Greetings in the Lord! It is calm with the temperature climbing to 15C
(about 60F) today. It rained overnight but the sky is clearing and we
should have the sun today.
It is Remembrance Day, November 11th, the day to pray and remember the
soldiers who died in war to defend our freedom. I will go to the Manor
today to celebrate the Holy Eucharist with all the residents there. I
hope my mother will also be present.
I spent the usual time in prayer this morning. Jesus spoke to me saying,
"Melvin, my friend, I love you. Let us go this morning to visit Our
Father in heaven." I agreed filled with joy and Jesus took me up to His
throne. I knelt in adoration before the Father. He spoke to us saying,
"Welcome Jesus and Melvin. Come and sit beside me. Jesus, my beloved
Son, I am well pleased with you. Your sacrifice on the cross is always
before me. In your great love, you have redeemed the world. Melvin, my
son, I bless you. You are my instrument to bring my message to the
world. Dear sons and daughters, listen to my Son, Jesus, and follow Him.
He has begun to work mightily in the world through the power of the Holy
Spirit. A second Pentecost is beginning. We have thrown fire upon the
earth and how we wish that it spread throughout the world. We want that
all the people become kindle for this fire. You will also feel the wind
as the sign of the Spirit's presence. He comes to renew the world. He
will turn the hearts of all to me, their Father. The new Pentecost will
show itself by great signs of healing and reconciliation. We are making
all things new. Open your heart to the Spirit and be filled. The new day
has dawned. I bless you all."
I was filled with joy as Jesus took me to the throne of Our Heavenly
Father. He spoke today of a new day dawning which He calls the New
Pentecost. The Holy Spirit will work with great power and there will be
fire and wind as at the First Pentecost in Jerusalem as we read in Acts
2. The Father used the plural "we" in reference to the New Pentecost
which means that it is the work of the Blessed Trinity. Lately, I have
experienced wind while praying with people and those prayed with have
been filled with heat, the sign of fire. God is making all things new.
Let us open our hearts for this great infilling. Let us thank the Lord
for what He is doing in our days. He wants us all close to Him.
I will put the final touches to my talks for the weekend of November 15
- 17 at Tignish. This is my last retreat for this year. I've been told
that all the rooms are taken as usual. Please pray for the success of
this weekend.
May the Holy Spirit come upon you all and fill you with peace and joy.
