ASK JESUS FOR ALL THE
GRACES YOU NEED
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Greetings and blessings in the Lord! There was a thick fog early this
morning but it is receding now. It is mild again today but wet. I was at
the fifth seminar in the Life of the Spirit last evening. We prayed with
the many people present and all felt the power of the Holy Spirit. Today
I will be busy with the Deanery meeting at 10:30 AM, a prayer at the
funeral parlour in Alberton for a friend who died and another visit to
Michelle for prayers.
I spent my half hour of contemplative prayer this morning with Jesus and
Our Lady. Jesus spoke to me first saying, "Melvin, my brother, we have a
special bond between us. I love you. Today is the Presentation of Our
Blessed Mother, let us go to visit her on her feast." He took me to her
house in heaven. She greeted us and as we sat down she spoke saying,
"Welcome Jesus and Melvin for your visit on this feast of mine. Although
nothing is written in the Bible about my Presentation in the Temple,
tradition does mention it. I was presented to the Father by my parents
at a young age. God accepted me and I was His for the rest of my life. I
am the handmaid of the Lord as the Holy Book testifies. On this
feastday, I desire that you all present yourself to the Father. Offer
yourselves to Him, giving Him your mind, your heart and your will, in
fact your whole being, to do only His will. Ask Jesus for the graces you
need everyday. In this way you will imitate me in my Presentation in the
Temple. On this day that honours me, my thoughts return, my children, to
the shrine I asked to be build on the Island. Pray that permission will
be given soon and a beginning will be made. I will bless with peace all
those who will visit my shrine. Jesus will shower His graces on all
visitors and He will cure their hearts and their bodies too. May my new
home among you be a reality in the near future. I love you all."
Our Lady has been given the great title of Mother of God. She was holy
from her conception and highly favoured by God as the Bible tells us. We
know that the Blessed Virgin Mary loves us as she loves her Son, Jesus.
She intercedes constantly with her Son on our behalf. How often has she
come to earth to call wayward human beings back to Jesus by repenting of
all their sins. Today on her Feastday she expresses again her desire for
her shrine on Prince Edward Island, the place she called Holy Ground as
this Province is free from the terrible scourge of abortion. Let us
honour her by praying the rosary every day.
Let us adore and worship the Lord every day and let us venerate Our
Blessed Mother who gave us Jesus, Our Saviour.
