I WANT YOU ALL IN MY HEART FOR I LOVE YOU

Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,

Good morning! We have another beautiful sunny day, a dear gift from the
Lord. This autumn is turning out to be a wonderful season and the 
weather
cannot be better. I attended the large funeral yesterday for my friend,
Wilbert, whom I hope, is united with the Lord and his dear mother. She 
died
three months ago. I also went to the Manor in Alberton for the 
celebration
of the Holy Eucharist with the residents there. It is always a great 
joy to
me to see all these dear friends of mine. They love to come to pray and 
to
receive the Holy Eucharist.

During my period of contemplation with Jesus this morning, He spoke to 
me
saying, "Melvin, I love you. You are my joy, I embrace you. No one can 
be
fully alive without me. I am the fulfillment of every life and I am the
reason for life. Melvin, remember that no one can take me away from 
you. You
are the only one who can chase me away. I know our union, blessed by 
the
Father, is permanent and is the greatest gift He has given you. This is 
the
pearl of great price. Blessed is the one who finds it. I give it to 
those
who contemplate my face daily, who walk with me and are humble of 
heart. You
will be my friend if you follow what I tell you and the angels in 
heaven
will sing for joy. The gift of nature delights the eyes but the gifts 
of the
spirit are more beautiful still. These come directly from me. Pray my 
dear
friends for the conver- sion of all the people of the world that they 
all
become my friends. I wish that they all live in intense union with me. 
I
want you all in my heart for I love you."

Jesus speaks about the pearl of great price which is a saying of His 
found
in the Bible. In fact He is the pearl of great price. It is the union 
of
Jesus with a person. This mystical union blessed by the Father is the
greatest treasure we can have. One may hear the choir of angels singing 
out
of pure delight. All should desire this great gift although no one can 
lay
claim to it. The Lord is completely free to give it as He wishes. Our 
duty
is to continue to climb the mountain and to be led by Jesus. Let us be 
full
of love for Jesus and remain humble. He calls us to pray for all the 
people
and especially these days let us pray for peace.

I am preparing for the spiritual weekend of November 9 - 11 in Tignish.
Twice a year we have this weekend for about 60 people. Its aim is to 
help
people grow spiritually. I will also be the spiritual director for the
women's cursillo which will be held in Rustico from 22nd to 25th 
November.
Please pray for the success of these two weekends. May the Lord give 
you the
grace to continue climbing the mountain with Him. May He bless you with
peace and joy.
