George Krappmann was born May 22, 1880 in Grafenhausling, Germany. Grafenhausling is in the state of Bavaria, district of Oberfranken (Upper Franconia), County of Bamburg and township of Wattendorf. George imigrated to the United States on the ship "Elbe" from Bremen, Germany on May 20, 1892, he turned 12 years old on the voyage. He arrived in New York on June 8, 1892. He lived and worked in the Rogers Park area of Chicago, IL. He and Katherine were married in 1903 or 1904 as a result of this union 6 children were born. George passed away on January 23, 1952. Katherine passed away on November 7, 1969. Their last child, Bernard joined them on February 14, 1993. We are seaching for our remaining family members left in Germany. All records of these relatives were lost since most of what we know are stories or acounts told to us by George, Katherine, or their children.

George Krappmann wurde am 22. Mai 1880 in Grafenhausling in Deutschland geboren. Grafenhausling liegt im Freistaat Bayern, Regierungsbezirk Oberfranken in der Nähe von Bamberg.
George wanderte am 20.Mai 1892 in die Vereinigten Staaten auf dem aus Bremen stammenden Schiff „Elbe“ ein und wurde auf dieser Reise 12 Jahre alt. Am 8.Mai 1892 kam er in New York an. Er lebte und arbeitete im Regierungsbezirk Rogers Park in Chicago, Illinois. 1903 oder 1904 heiratete er Katherine. Aus dieser Ehe entsprangen sechs Kinder. George starb am 23.Januar 1952 und Katherine am 7.November 1969. Ihr jüngster Sohn Bernard starb am 14.Februar 1993.
Wir suchen nach unseren übriggebliebenen Angehörigen in Deutschland. Alle Verbindungen unserer Verwandten sind verlorren gegangen. Alle Geschichten die wir heute kennen, wissen wir von George und Katherine oder ihren Kindern.
