Just like Peter, we are faced with doubting our faith at times.
Sometimes we feel as though Jesus isn't there, and
we get confused, we wonder, where has he gone?
Just imagine you were Peter, and saw someone walking
on the water? How would you react? Would you ask
him, "If it be you, Lord, let me come unto you."?
And as you were rising out of the boat to literally
walk on the water, would your faith be strong enough
to hold you up?

It is a hard question to answer, but I think that
most of us would be so overwhelmed by the experience
that we would begin to sink also. This happens in
every day life. Nothing so drastic as walking on
water, but normal life situations. Do we TRUST
God enough? Have we really handed over all our
problems? Or are we just like a child who gives a
toy to his father and then comes back and takes
it before he is through, because they are impatient?
Do we sometimes think that God isn't answering our
prayers right? And we want to get involved and tell
him what he should be doing?

I'm sure this has happened to everyone. I will admit
that I have done it!
But Jesus is our refuge in the storms of life. He is
always there to keep us from sinking. He will
give us his hand and shelter us and take
care of us. All we need to is ask and accept.
Are you still carrying around something that is a heavy
burden unto you? Give it to Jesus! You
will feel so much better, and your load will be lighter.

Psalm 56:3-4 When I am afraid,
I will trust you.
I praise God for his word.
I trust God, so I am not afraid.
What can human beings do to me?
Human beings can hurt us in many ways, but they can
not take away our faith or our salvation.
Life is but a short while. We will spend eternity in
Heaven with our Maker. Praise God!.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 But [the Lord] said to me, "My
grace is enough for you. When you are
weak, my power is made perfect in you."...For this
reason I am happy when I have weaknesses, insults,
hard times, sufferings, and all kinds of troubles for Christ.
Because when I am weak, then I am truly strong.

Philipians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything
by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Amen

So, give all your worries and troubles to God, let
him handle them. Concentrate on serving God
in a pleasing manner. How can we do that if
we are constantly worrying about something?
We can't. God knows our hearts, and he knows what we
need even before we ask. Jesus said, "For whatever
you ask in my name, it shall be given you."
Isn't that enough?

LET GO AND LET GOD

As children bring their broken toys,
with tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God,
because He is my friend.
But then instead of leaving Him
in peace to work alone.
I hung around and tried to help,
with ways that were my own.
At last, I snatched them back again
and cried, "How can you be so slow?"
"My child" He said, "What could I do?
You never did let go."
