but sometimes I DO get carried away.
I'm trying to do better, though.

I like hunting~~~
I hunt with a bow,
I hunt with a gun,
I'd hunt with a stick if I had to!

I started racing in 2002 and I...er, uh....got a little carried away. The paragraph below would have been VERY MUCH me back then....

I would race my gokart even if:
it's my 17th wedding anniversary...
and I broke my collarbone in two places...
and had to have a major $10,000+ surgery...
and couldn't even use the bathroom by myself...
and I had to miss almost a month of work...
and am still recovering from surgery months later...
and EVEN if it made her extremely angry with me...

I didn't care!

BeCAAAAUse----
I really loved my gokart more than anything!

Back then-----
I would rather talk about gokarts than eat!
(and that's saying a lot!)
I spent almost all of my free time working on my gokart...
and when I wasn't working on it, I was talking about it...
I would call my gokart buddies in the evenings and talk for hours
...about gokarts
And if I didn't call a buddy, I got online and to read about gokarts...
I LOVED gokarts!

I still like gokarts, but I've realized that I was really neglecting my wife and home and family.

My sons like gokarts.
Both of them are racing as of the 2003 season.
And doing VERY well, I might add! *smile*
Mama goes with us, too, and so does my dad, Papaw Tom!
Mama says she goes mainly because if something happened to one of the boys, like it did with my wreck, and she wasn't there, she just wouldn't be able to stand it.
She is also going to show her support, even though she really has a STRONG dislike for going to the track.
