Roll up to the ledge or curb as if you are going to do a 50 - 50. Ollie up and land slightly over rotated to where your nose points away from the ledge. This is easier than landing straight on and you grind faster with more of a flow. It's easier to come off a ledge that has an end to it but if the one you are grinding doesnt dont worry. As you begin to slow down do a little ollie by jumping foward with your board. Dont worry if your tail is touching the ledge while you are grinding, you can still make your board come off by trying an ollie. If this is troubling you try coming off 180. This trick may also be easier for you if you have more speed. |
