These steps are for a b/s crooked grind, the more commonly done crooked grind. Roll up to the ledge as if you are going to do a b/s 50-50 or maybe on a slight angle. Experiment with both to see what works for you. It may help to stick this without grinding any where to start with. Ollie up and push the nose of your board out at an angle leaning slightly back. When you feel your front truck lock in bring your weight up ontop of the ledge. Be careful not to lean too far back or you may slip out. Lock in your knees and stick with the grind as long as possible. It's easier to come off a ledge that has an end to it, but it may be just as easy to come off fakie in the middle of the ledge. Just slightly turn off or push your nose out foward and keep your board underneath your feet. |
