In Memory of Sue Cross

I have created this page to forever honor a friend, teacher and sister to myself as well as everyone who's life she touched in her short but well filled lifetime.
I met Sue several years ago. She was teaching herbal classes at a local art supply store in my town. She was bright, cheerful and full of energy. Her knowledge was extensive but if she didn't know the anwser she was willing to help you find it.
Sue gave without asking for anything in return. In warm weather, she taught nature classes and plant identification. My daughter went with me for these and they bonded quickly. On one of these occasions she gave my daughter the name of "Little Eagle Eye" for my daughter saw so quickly the little things that all of us were over looking.
Sue left this physical world some time late October of 1999. I found out while on a visit to our local Environmental Education Center, where Sue had held many of her Nature Walks and Drumming Circles. I don't know how or exactly when but the news came as a complete shock.
Sue was a wonderful teacher, a terrific friend and a much loved sister to all she met. In a Drumming Circle held in her honor I learned from her yet again. Her words of wisdom are presented here to be passed along to my friends...their friends.

There are only two things that govern your life ~
Love and Fear

There are only two ways to feel ~
Comfortable or uncomfortable

There's only one thing we are here to do ~
Return to oneness

There is only one thing we are here to find out ~
Who we really are
