Trowa glanced over to the young woman sitting with Cathy, Heero. She looked shy, but always ready for anything that is up ahead. Her long black hair pulled up in a bun with two Japanese hairpins coming out of each side. Her tan color shirts with a white shirt under it, tucked into a pair of dark brown pants, the end of the pants were tucked into a pair of black boots. Her dark blue eyes turned over to Trowa surprising him by meeting her gaze from afar. He put down his knife, sat up from the table, put on his white color shirt but not buttoning it, he wore it lose with his jungle green circus pants he wore during eve wars. He smiled and picked up his apple and walked over to her. She didn't say anything to him when he sat down she remained quiet. He looked at her and held out the apple in his hand to her. She finally spoke.
"Hello Trowa." She smiled.
"Hello Hilde, long time since I saw you." He smiled back still holding out the apple to her. She finally reached out and took the apple out of his hand.
"Oh...thank-you"
"Welcome, so what are you doing here? I thought you went with Duo to England?"
"Nay! I have to go to Egypt my flight leaves in eight hours."
"Why Egypt?"
"I don't know Trowa? I want to live my life to the fullest, traveling to places I never been too." She smiled. Trowa lost her gaze and just looked towards the sun, he loved her and she loved him, he never saw her for long time not since peacemillion. The two fell in love when Duo and her decide not to be together just to be friends. Hilde stood up and blocked Trowa's view, holding her hand out to him. "Come on lets go for a walk." She whispered. Trowa took her hand and then started to take a walk with her. They walked towards the park walking along the sidewalk enjoying the afternoon.
"Hilde I---," he stopped and didn't finished.
"What Trowa?"
"Never mind."
Hilde lowered her eyes, she quickly watched Trowa's hand grip hers tight when she grip his. She looked back over to Trowa and looked at the emotion on his face. She stopped walking when Trowa stopped and faced her taking both of her hands in his.
"Trowa what's wrong?" she asked with worry when she saw his hand shake with hers. "It's my fault." He whispered. "What's your fault."
"Everything, from Operation Meteor to you almost got killed from the suits that the White fang made me put my data on."
"NO Trowa it wasn't your fault, it's was not." She whispered. She shrived when Trowa's hand caresses the back of her neck, near the scar, going down to another scar. "I was in charged of it and I didn't stop it."
"Trowa it's okay, look at me." She whispered taking her hand to his cheek meeting his gaze. "It was not your fault, look at me. I am alive and with you, Heero, and everyone else--," he pulsed her with his finger to her lips. "Millions of people lost their lives because of me" he whispered. He brought her hands up to his lips and gently kissed them. Hilde looked into his eyes and Trowa looked into her eyes not wanting to leave the gaze. Hilde closed her eyes as Trowa nuzzled his forehead with hers closing his eyes. Trowa held her tight in his arms, holding her warmth, her love, and her love for him. "I love you" he whispered adding a kiss to her forehead. "I love you too" she whispered back. Trowa rested his chin on top of her head as she nuzzled her head under his chin; he wrapped his arms tightly around her closing his eyes. He pushed her back a few, leaning down towards her lips. Hilde closed her eyes bringing her arms around his neck as their lips touch in long sweet passionate kiss, the two held onto one another as a gently breeze blew around them.
~ 10 years earlier ~
Trowa watched the trainee's practice battling from a window, watching them know how to fight with his command. He looked down, and suddenly felt a gentle hand touch his shoulder, he slowly turned around and didn't change his emotion. "Trowa, I thought you were going to stop Operation Meteor" Hilde whispered.
"I am going to soon,"
"But if you don't millions of people will die." She whispered. Suddenly Trowa gripped her shoulders meeting her gaze. "I promise, when Oz is quiet I will stop Operation Meteor, and then--." He paused when Hilde looked down not meeting his gaze, not showing her emotion towards him, but towards below. Trowa gently placed his hand under her chin lifting her face to meet his gaze. "Something could happen," she whispered with a tear going down her cheek. Before her tear of sorrow fell down farther down Trowa wipe them away. "Nothing is going to happen, Once I come back from the central base I will come back to you and stop Operation Meteor." he whispered meeting her gaze finally seeing her dark blue eyes that he loves. Suddenly Hilde clung to him tightly shaking like a scared child. "Please don't! You...you ...you could lose your life!" she sobbed. "But I have too," he whispered. "No you don't!" tears steamed slowly down her cheeks.
She nuzzled her head on his chest.
Hilde hugged him tighter as he hugged her tighter, before he had to leave on the plane. "You're in my heart." He whispered. "And you'll always be in mine..." she cried hugging him tight. The two backed up and kissed each other, Trowa pulled back and walked away towards the gate.
Explosions rocked though the base; exploding buildings blew up as soon as missiles hit connect. Troops of many units ran right and left being airborne from the rocking of the explosions that swept though the base. Nothing but tanks, planes flew and rolled in an attack, nothing was stopping them, nothing but being the fools. Trowa ran outside to the jet-planes they had left over, he climbed up and climbed into the cockpit. He slammed the glass hatch shut and turned on the engine. He carefully watched the missiles barely miss his jet, only hitting the others beside his. He flipped on his helmet and put on the eyewear. He turned on the radar and already has locked onto a target. He hit the thrust forward sending the jet zooming off the runway. When his jet went airborne he locked onto the target one more time. His eyes turned narrow, his breath went heavy as he picked up the knots on the jet, all he can think of is to destroy all of the enemy and that means himself. Suddenly his left eye narrowed down to the radio down by the joystick, he call here Hilde plead for him not to do this, but inside he wanted too, but on the outside he wanted to kill. Trowa fired the missile, launching it from his jet, sailing at 33+ knots towards the enemy's tanker. Within seconds the tank was hit and a louder explosion rocked though the base. Trowa changed weapons switching them from missiles to guns. He pulled back the trigger continually firing down to the tanks that were on the ground. He pulled the joystick down sending his jet towards the tank still firing. He turned the joystick right forcing his jet to spin down. The tank below aimed for the F-14 that was firing at them, the tank locked on Trowa's jet and fired. The cannon sailed towards Trowa. The master alarm sounded off, alarming as he narrowed his eyes at the master alarm system. He pulled back on the joystick pulling the plane up and up, but nothing was stopping that cannon from following him. He turned the jet left and right but the cannon still followed him. He looked down at his hand and looked at his wedding band he was soon to marry Hilde. He turned on the radio and said. "Hilde, I love you I promise I will come back!" he said when he suddenly let go of the joystick when the cannon hit his back engine forcing the plane to go spinning down to the ground, and explodes on impact with the ground.
Hilde fell to her knees hugging her arms around herself as Heero ran to her side keeping off the ground but she forced herself to fall to her knees letting herself cry. In their stay room, Trowa brought red roses for her before he left for the base. Suddenly the roses that were bright red started to lean down, lose their bright color and turn to a black. The bright red petals that once were fell off the rose and gently fell onto the table that they were resting on.
The burning plane crash site was still there, rumble still slowly burned, and debris was everywhere all over. A few feet from the burning plane, a huge white pursuit laid on the ground not far from there, a young man covered in ashes and burned stood on his feet wobbling giving all his strenght to stand. He smiled and whispered, "I'm on my way, my love." He then collapses to the ground on his back lying by the crash site. His face covered in minor burns and ashes, there were two tear lines going down his cheeks from the tears he shed when he collapsed shinned like diamonds in the sun.
~ 10 years later ~
Trowa pulled back and wiped her tears from her eyes. "I should have never left, I should have never left to the base, and got on that jet. I should have went back with you and Heero." he whispered. He took her hand in his, brought it up to his lips and kissed it. He traced her wedding band with his lips, and brought her hand to his cheek.
They went back to his trailer, sitting on the bed together with the lights turned off. Trowa laid her down as they continued to passionate kiss. Trowa sat up pulling Hilde with him, as he took the clips out of her hair letting her hair fall down to her chest, he pulls back on the kiss just for the two just to get air. Hilde pulled off Trowa's shirt as he unbuttoned hers slowly. Once the last button was unbuttoned he took off her shirt and dropped it aside. Hilde reached back and turned on the lights with a smile. But Trowa reached out and turned the light off as he laid her back down slowly bringing another long passionate kiss. Hilde pulled back and looked into his forest green eyes.
"I have to leave soon." she whispered.
"Please stay with me it took me this long to finally find you" he added a kiss to the tip of her nose. Hilde just smiled and nodded. "Let's continue what we had before," he took her hand in his letting their wedding bands touch together.
"Okay, I will stay" she whispered. Trowa smiled and leaned down to give her another long passionate kiss to finish what they planned to do.
Moments later, in his small trailer in his bedroom with the door shut the window above his window was covered in steam, then suddenly Hilde's small hand slammed flat against the window, her small sweaty hand slid down the window and landed on Trowa's back. Trowa nuzzled his head under Hilde's chin kissing the drops of sweat off her neck. Hilde lifted her head up and stoked his hair from his eyes as he laid his head down on her chest listening to her heartbeat that he waited so long for too hear. Hilde kissed his forehead and ran her fingertips up and down his back.
They just stared into one another eyes for the longest time not leaving their locked gaze. Hilde yawned and smiled, when Trowa pulled up and caress her cheek with his gentle hand. She sat up and covered up her chest with the sheets.
Trowa took her hand in his and looked at her wedding band. "We need to do something about these" he smiled. "Your right," she whispered. "I was gone for so long, it's been a long time since we--," he stopped when he got off the bed and pulled on a pair of jeans. "Then lets get married," she adds as she pulls on one of his long t-shirts, got off the bed, walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around him. Trowa covered her hands with his and looked down.
"Would you be happy with me?"
"Yes I would, I love you and always will" she whispered, she let her tears solo down her cheeks and fall onto his flesh. "No matter what you do Trowa, no matter what you say or do or what choices you made I will always be yours" she cried. Trowa turned around and held her tight in his arms. "You always be mine too no matter what you do in life." He whispered holding her tight in his arms.
Everyone gathered on one day, Trowa and Hilde stood at the altar holding hands together facing one another. Once the preacher allowed Trowa to kiss his bride, he leaned forward and held her close followed up a long deepening kiss, Hilde leaned into the kiss wrapping her arms around his neck.
Following a loud applause with everyone standing clapping for them.
