In 1964 The Beatles exploded into prominence, taking the music scene by storm. Beatlemania was born and the rest is history.
A Hard Day’s Night recaptures the excitement of the group’s early days as it tells the story of 36 hours in the lives of the Fab Fourv. Refreshing, innovative and very, very funny, it established the standard for the music videos of today.
Highly acclaimed by critics, film historians and fans alike, A Hard Day’s Night is a time tripping event for those who remember the happy days of Beatlemania and a rare treat for those who will experience this treasure for the first time.
FUN! That’s what this film is about. No serious message, no brutal revelations; just fun, historic fun, taken from a time when The Beatles (and a whole generation) took themselves less seriously.
HELP!, The Beatles second movie, picks up where A HARD DAY’S NIGHT left off, with the Fab Four on a madcap mission of fun and frolics.
An ancient sacrificial ring stuck on his finger imperils Ringo’s life. The ring makes him the target of a group of hilariously demented Oriental mystics, who chase the boys from London to the Swiss Alps to the Bahamas.
Honestly, we have seen this movie hundreds of times but we still find no point to it! That’s not to say we don’t like it, we do, because the music is legendary!!!!!!!!!!!! And Paul IS the walrus!
This movie is a classic, however it is not their best...the movie is set in pepper land, a musical home for the one and only Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Until the blue meanies take over and then old Fred goes past the sea of green, the sea of holes, the foot hills of the head lands, no where land, the sea of science, and the sea of monsters and then finally to Liverpool, where he meets The Beatles and then they all make their way to Pepperland in the Yellow submarine, where John Tells us ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE!!!!
And that’s all I have to say about that.
