| Liam Jaimes Pettitt was born at the Liverpool Maternity Hospital on 19th June 1985 at 2:20 pm. He weighed in at an healthy 9lbs.7ozs, he had a mop of black hair and dark blue eyes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Wow after 11 years of waiting and following a traumatic mis-carriage I have got my son at last "Thank You Lord " Adele has a brother after being an only child for so long she is delighted, Daddy is exhilarated a first grandson for the Pettitt family. Liam was such a contented baby and a happy little toddler, he idolised his older sister and she in turn worshipped him. They were as different as chalk and cheese *smile* Liam had such a unique character he was as lively and outgoing as Adele was quiet and reserved .... but they shared a bond with one another I have never witnessed before or since. Adele was more like a second mummy to Liam than a sister, she was fiercely protective of him ... p'haps that's because she had waited so long for him *smile* Liam was everything I had ever dreamed of, in fact he was a dream come true. He was bright, happy, and healthy .... healthy that is until the morning of Christmas eve 1987. Liam woke feeling unwell, he had a sore throat and a temperature. His daddy and I took him along to the doctors surgery, the doctor diagnosed tonsilitis and prescribed an antibiotic ... he wasn't too pleased with me he treated me like a neurotic mother. It was Christmas eve after-all and consultations were reserved for urgent cases only. Liam was seen by the doctor at 10:45 am .... 4 hours later he died in his sisters arms, my beautiful dream was short lived. Liam was only lent to me for just 2 years, 6 months and 5 days Oh Liam I wish you could have stayed for just a few months longer then you would have got to meet your baby sister Vanessa who you were waiting so patiently for.(you had insisted that if your new baby was a girl this is what she would be called) |
