| With Brian and I it truly was a matter of love at first sight. Of course everyone said it wouldn't last because we were too young ... but we wouldn't listen and we are glad we didn't 'cos we have proved them all wrong !! Oh goodness it has not all been plain sailing far from it. | Oh, we have known heartbreak too, like on Christmas eve 1987 when our only adored son Liam died suddenly and without warning. We had waited 10 long years to have a son and then he was gone in the blinking of an eye. He had been waiting so patiently for santa to bring his bike ...he couldn't believe just one more sleep and santa will be here. Liam was just 2 1/2 years old when he was struck by a rare virus that was to claim his life. | A couple of months after Liam's untimely death ..... we were blessed with the arrival of his precious sister Vanessa. Liam had said if his new baby was a sister he would name her Vanessa !! now we had a reason to go on. Whilst Vanessa will never replace Liam- she was not intended to. | TTThis is our eldest daughter Adele~Marie. Liam died in her arms, we didn't think she would ever recover from that .Adele idolised her brother ...... not one single day goes by that she does not talk about him !!! thank God Adele is a survivor and she is doing pretty well.
