Although it's always been a problem to get hold of in most countries, up until recently it was available in the US on video and also, remarkably, in a special edition DVD.

Why remarkable? Well, the edition dated back to the very early days when all you could get was The Mummy and The Matrix and extras were a bit sparse, but some exec inexplicably decided that Lair should be near the top of the list for getting the star treatment.

And star it was - behind the scenes photos, background info, and a very amusing commentary from the man Ken himself, which proved once and for all that he didn't take the film seriously in any way (just in case viewers could have been in any doubt!).

Unfortunately now, both video and DVD have been deleted. You can sometimes pick them up on eBay or by used sellers on Amazon, but they tend to be a bit extortionate. Happy hunting though!
