Children's Christmas Program:

If your children are interested in a role for the Children's Christmas play on Christmas Eve, please bring them to Sunday school November 30.

Sound System:

As you are probably aware the church is in need of people to help with the sound system during worship.  If you are interested in learning how to handle the soundboard please plan to attend a meeting on Thursday, September 11th, 6:30 p.m.  This meeting is for anyone that would like to learn the system.

Portals of Prayer:

The October-December issue of the Portals of Prayer are now located on the back table.  Your family name is on your copy.  Please help yourself to your issue.

Lutheran Witness:

The September issues of the Lutheran Witness is now on the back table.  There is an interesting article on the new movie "Luther - A Man For This Season," which will soon be released in movie theaters, plus articles on "Confronting Cohabitation" and "Grace at Ground Zero."  Please help yourself to an issue.

Confirmation Classes:

Confirmation Classes will soon get underway.  Students that attend Zion Lutheran School will have their lessons during religious class in the classroom during the week.  Students that do not attend Zion will meet after worship each Sunday.  If you would like to join a confirmation class or know of someone that would be interested in attending, please contact Pastor Wiseman at 425-377-2173.
