Very small indeed are we all to the Creator's eyes. Yet, within each one of us is embedded a single seed. The seed of psychism. The seed of mediumship. These are gifts to be treasured and held in esteem, not feared and maligned, but used to help and assist both ourselves and others we come in contact with, both seen and unseen.
I am a psychic medium and have been for as long as I can recall. At the age of 3, I can recall going to cemeteries near my home, lonely family plots in fields, and speaking to the "people" I met there. For most of my very early youth, I thought all people did this. Both my mother and great-aunt accepted this as natural and normal. It was not until kindergarten that I began to realize that this was not so common. However, it did engender a thirst and a desire to grow in this capacity.
My searching through the years lead me down many wondrous paths. I have studied the Scriptures both as a 17 year old youth leader for the Methodist Church as well as with the Jehovah's Witnesses, where I was a Ministerial Servant. I have acted as High Priest in a Wiccan Circle in Athens, Ohio circa 1988 as well as a psychic medium for a Columbus Ohio based paranormal investigative group. It was with this group that filming for a History Channel pilot episode was finished in mid-March, 2007.
As life has lead me down this road, one thing I became aware of. Most people fear and shun their God-given gifts. Scriptures are full of "magic" and "psychism" through the power of the Divine being operative on one or more individuals. Ancient texts of all cultures refer to Shamans, priests and seers who did fantastic things. These are not just fairy tales, but things we all can accomplish.
If there is one enemy to these gifts, it would be modern society. Like any plant or seedling, these gifts need cultivated, which require time. It requires that each of us slow down in this hectic hubbub of a world and learn to listen both to our inner voices and the voice of the cosmos. In Taoism, there is a proverb that states that if we unlock the secrets of a blade of grass, we unlock the secrets of the cosmos. How can we do so, if we are so rushed and harried that we fail to behold the grass we trample upon?
Through this website, I hope to 1) encourage anyone who reads it to stop, pause and think of the gifts they may be neglecting 2) to show that these things are not "abnormal" or "strange" but inherent in each of us as a beautiful testimony of a Divine Intelligence 3) to offer assistance, suggestions and help so others may learn to use their abilities. I do not have much to offer except nearly 45 years of experience from the age of 3 until now. It doesn't fill the pockets with money nor the home with lavish things, but it can become a solace in rough times and a help during trials.
