Piranha Plants come in all sorts of kinds and colors, but all I have on thing in common: (well probably more than one) they all are dangerous biters! I personally think (me Larry) that they are most dangerous type of ummmm... monster because they aren't furioiusly stupid and can't be killed by jumping on their heads (that will kill you). The only ways I know of how to dig up this fellows is to hit them with a star or a fireball, which makes perfect since, considering they are Piranha PLANTS! LIke I said, there are many kinds of Piranha Plants some are in pipes, some aren't; some can shoot fireballs, some can't. Here is some more information on the different types of Piranha Plants. Piranha Plants |

Pakkun Flowers are one of the more common types of Piranha Plants. They come out of pipes as you see. Some come out of the ground and some come from above. Both are very dangerous to get near. Sometimes if you take the Pakkun out of the ground pipes you can go down the pipe into a secret little room! I'm not sure if that works on the ones coming from above though. Another difference about Pakkun Flowers are that they have pink lips (other Piranhas Plants have white lips). |

I guess you just call these Piranha Plants. Regular-old Piranha Plants, though you don't see them around very much lately. Pakkun Flowers are more common since my dad (Bowser) things they look better and are better at eating Mario. These kinds of Piranha Plants are planted in the ground. They can't hide inside pipes (don't have any pipes), so they can't go up and down in a rhythm; they actually have to think about what they are doing (unlike Pakkuns). |

Naval Piranha |

The Naval Piranha is one of the 3 most dangerous Piranha Plants. As you can see, the Naval Piranha lives in water, but I think it wasn't always that way. It used to be like any other Piranha Plant until Kamek made it gigantic and forced it to attack Yoshi (I think). The little patched up bruise is its weak spot, and of course with every boss comes a wide open weak spot (well maybe they all don't have it WIDE open). |

The Lava Piranha is also one of the 3 most dangerous Piranha Plants. I don't know a whole bunch about the Lava Piranha but I do know it looks very similar to the Naval Piranha. It lived on a volcano and was to protect a Star Spirit or something. Mario (of course) took it out. I guessing it has some sort of fire attack too. Oh and it has a tounge (no idea why). |

Petey Piranha |

Petey Piranha is walking, flying, goo-shooting Piranha Plant! I believe he is the most dangerous of all the Piranha Plants. How such a giant thing flies, I have no idea. Petey Piranha was discovered in Bianco Hills by Mario. Petey didn't like what Mario did to him the first time so attacked him again... but got beaten to pulp... again. The goo (or whatever that stuff is) he shoots is very harmful to your health. Not only that but sometimes it has Piranha Plants in it; which shoot even more goo! You can clean it with water though. Petey Piranha can also create little whirlwinds with his leaf-shaped hands.. It looks like Petey is wearing a diaper or something... Well anyways people say that Petey was created by Bowser Jr. (the wannabe) but I don't think so.... |
