Thwomps are blocks that hover in mid-air. Whenever you get under them... BAM! They fall right on you! If they actually hit you, you are flattened into a pancake. King Dad likes to use them as road blocks and stuff, but some how Mario finds a way around them. Most Thwomps are blue, but there is a rumor that there is a green one locked up in Bowser's Castle... Anyways, some Thwomps have spikes and some don't. They both do pretty much the same thing. Many of these Thwomps will let you pass the road they are blocking if you pay them enough money. Oh yeah, these things can talk too. There are some other types of Thwomps, such as Thimps (they can hop around), Whomps (like dominos) Grindels (mummified version of a Thwomp), and Spindels (rolling-pin shaped); but all of them do pretty much the same thing: they squish things. |
