Prividence Canyon State Park Lumpkin, Georgia "Little Grand Canyon"

On July 20, 2003, my friend Nancy and I went hiking in Providence Canyon.  We had a lot of fun!  I was utterly amazed at the wonderful array of colors that can be seen.

We unfortunatley got a late start to our day and didn't get to the park until after 5pm.  Then, we got sidetracked and started following the riverbed. So, we only finished 1/3 of the 3 mile hike.  We hope to go back again when it is cooler, and finish the hike. Maybe in the fall!
